Fascinating news that will be fun to watch unfold. Proof of the six degrees of separation in the arts world as well as the health of dance. Having read this reminds me that Mr. Duato brought his Compania Nacional de Danza recently to the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa, California this past season - last engagement with him as the company's director. It was a wonderful stay. He does return, however, choreographing a piece that will be part of a new production titled Reflections that will have its world premiere January 20-23 at the Center. This is a partnership with the Bolshoi in collaboration with Mr. Danilian, who was so integral in creating the premieres of Kings of Dance, Diana Vishneva: Beauty in Motion and Tour de Force for us as well. It is wonderful that dance seems to be strong and vibrant and inspiring a growing audience in this century.
