Loach's new comedy trailer | Arts News

Loach's new comedy trailer

Ken Loach's forthcoming film The Angels' Share follows a more comedic path than several of his recent works. Set in Scotland and involving a dram scam, it has a flavoursome whiff of Whisky Galore. The script is by Paul Laverty, and the cast includes some regular faces from the Loach ensemble including John Henshaw (Looking for Eric), William Ruane (The Wind that Shakes the Barley), Gary Maitland (Sweet Sixteen), while introducing a new young crop of Scottish actors: Paul Brannigan, Siobhan Reilly and Jasmin Riggins. Roger Allam also stars. A new trailer has just been released which gives a cheerful flavour.
