The Crafts Council is the national development agency for contemporary craft. Our goal is to make the UK the best place to make, see, collect and learn about contemporary craft. Last year, over two million people attended Crafts Council exhibitions, fairs, schools’ projects, events and showcases across the country.

The Crafts Council’s Communications Manager plays a major role in ensuring that the Crafts Council is a powerful advocate for contemporary craft, communicating clearly and effectively on behalf of the Crafts Council and the contemporary craft sector.

This post will provide cover for the current post-holder’s maternity leave for approximately 12 months.

The role involves extensive team management, cross-team and partnership working within an overall arts marketing context.
