Location: Bankside and Millbank

Tate’s Adult Programmes create events to develop and deepen public engagement with art. We develop partnerships which actively involve people with contemporary culture through exciting and inspiring programmes for local, national and international audiences. We are looking for an experienced Curator to develop our cross-site programme at Tate Modern and Tate Britain.

Working alongside curatorial colleagues, you will generate high quality and innovative learning programmes. This will include: co-ordinating the management, planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of the various strands of the Adult Programme, alongside the convenor; supporting the development of a marketing and publicity strategy; managing existing partnerships and exploring new networks and line managing Assistant Curators within the Adult Programmes team.

Degree educated (or equivalent) in a relevant arts or educational field, you will have experience of devising and co-ordinating innovative Adult Programmes within an arts or educational institution, with a particular emphasis on participatory practice. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels. Excellent writing and editorial skills are also essential.
