Alien: Covenant review - we've seen most of this before

Surely Sir Ridley Scott isn't winding us up?

It's so crass it defies belief, it insults one's intelligence, Lets see, you land on a totally unknown alien planet with any analysis of the risk pathogens walk off with out any form of protective suit then stick ones face into bizarre fungal spores apart from smoking cigarettes ( Oh come on)and you expect to try and suggest that anyone would do this, The point is when you find yourself saying that there is absolutely no way anyone would EVER do this then the film no longer captures you and from then on all credibility is lost and you know it is just going to get ever more comprehensively ridiculous.. The point is My Scott to maintain credibility even if the story line really is incredible you need to at least display that humans behave in rational self preserving manner, do that and you can carry any audience to extremes and you didn't have to do much to do this. I COULD DO BETTER. You should have stopped at Alien, which I saw in 1978 but I suppose it's all about money
